Bon Accord Square is a 'pocket park' located in the center of Aberdeen, although it offers both the retreat that one would expect from a more rural location. The association 'Feuars Association' is responsible for the maintenance of the square and its gardens and ensures that the area maintains its character and charm. Aberdeen train and bus stations are about 10 minutes away on foot, while local bus lines stop about 5 minutes away on foot. Restaurants, pubs and shops are also within a 5-minute walk. The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from the seafront. The accommodation is based at 15 Bon Accord Square, a stately home classified as Grade B, designed by Archibald Simpson to use as his own residence. The number 15 is clearly the largest building in the square. The hotel, renovated in 2009, consists of 15 luxurious hotel suites, each individually designed to blend perfectly with the details of the building. Its facilities include a lobby, safe and Wi-Fi Internet connection. Each suite has its own unique features and the vast majority of suites have separate living and sleeping areas. All suites have a high level finish and feature LCD TV and satellite / cable channels, superior fabrics and walnut furniture, free Wi-Fi Internet connection, full kitchen with a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker / teapot, and daily press. The leather sofa beds provide an additional accommodation option and many suites offer stunning views, either to Bon Accord Square at the front of the building or to the rooftops of Ferryhill at the rear. The private bathrooms include a hairdryer and other amenities included are double beds, direct dial telephone, safe, ironing set and adjustable heating. Free continental breakfast is offered every morning.
