Hope Street

In the heart of the city's cultural quarter, the Hope Street Hotel is ideally located between the two Liverpool cathedrals, across the road from the Philharmonic concert hall and surrounded by theaters and restaurants. Built in 1860 in the style of a Venetian palazzo, Hope Street is a privately owned design hotel run with dedication, attentive service and comfortable and modern interiors. The individually designed hotel rooms feature heated floors with floor heating and extra-large beds covered in Egyptian cotton. There are large-screen LCD televisions, DVD and CD players, plus unlimited broadband access in each room. Shower trays the size of plates, large soft towels, and anti-fog mirrors complement the bathrooms where time seems to stop. Through the windows and skylights you can see part of the amazing architecture that fills the city, offering views that include the river, a world heritage skyline and cathedrals. The Hope Street Hotel opened the doors of The London Carriage Works in December 2003. Since then, the restaurant has had enthusiastic reviews and critical acclaim. It has been described as the best quality restaurant in Liverpool and has been voted one of the top ten restaurants outside London in the Harden guide. The obsession with quality coupled with a great emphasis on the use of local, organic and fresh seasonal products has seen how restaurant tables have become some of the most sought-after in the northwest. Throughout the restaurant, there is a friendly space to relax and catch up with a drink before dinner or to have the last drink.
