About the accommodation
Originally built in the style of the Belle Epoque, the mansion served as a refuge by the sea during the presidency of Augusto Leguía in 1920. Its architectural features and style capture the spirit of celebration of the centenary of Peru, which permeated the capital's life during The time of construction. The famous French architect Claude Sahut, praised for his remodeling work on the Government Palace, along with many of Lima's main avenues, parks, theaters and other buildings and public spaces, was originally commissioned to design the property as a summer residence for the García Bedoya family.
