Palacio dos Melos

Located in the heart of the old town of Viseu, in a building of great architectural, historical and cultural value, this magnificent urban hotel is part of one of the seven gates of the ancient walls of Alfonsina, the Porta Soar de Cima. Restaurants, bars and stores are on the hotel's doorstep, while attractions such as the cathedral, the Grão Vasco Museum and the Parque do Fontelo are less than 1 km away. This air-conditioned establishment opened in 2007 and has a total of 27 elegant rooms. They are equipped with en suite bathrooms with shower, whirlpool bath and hairdryer, as well as adjustable air conditioning for maximum comfort. They also have satellite TV. IMPORTANT: Until September 21, in order to better enjoy the city, traffic in the historic center of Viseu will be limited: Fridays from 19:30hh to 02:00h, Saturdays from 16:00h to 02:00h, and Sundays from 15:00h to 20:00h.

If you need to access the hotel during the traffic restriction, you can do so through Hotel Porta do Soar, located in the opposite direction.
