Since 1883, the Central Plaza Hotel is located in the Central Plaza Zurich next to the main train station. The Plaza houses a grill restaurant and a piano bar with live music, as well as the King's Cave Restaurant, which is located in the basement of the building and has a unique atmosphere with an open fireplace, antique mirrors and paintings. All rooms are soundproof and comfortable. Bahnhofstrasse is the most popular shopping street, many banks, several museums and art galleries are just a short walk away from the Central Square.
