The Kildonan Lodge is a pleasant 4-star boutique hotel, located less than three kilometres from Princess Street and with easy access to Edinburgh Castle and the main attractions of the capital of Scotland. You can reach the city center in half an hour on foot, by taxi, or only in 10 minutes by bus, with excellent service with a stop in front of the hotel. Our rooms are individually decorated to capture the classic theme that surrounds the hotel. You can choose between a classic double room with bathroom or our elegant and more contemporary executive rooms with large beds. Designed to create a romantic atmosphere, our four-poster rooms are the most popular, for their beds and bathrooms with Jacuzzi, perfect for a special occasion. A delicious Scottish breakfast is served.By Car: To reach us by car take the City By-pass (A720), exit at Straiton Junction follow signs for the City Center (A701), continue through six sets of traffic lights until you reach a large junction (Cameron Toll), keep straight ahead and we are approximately 200 meters on the right. From Edinburgh Airport By car: Follow the signs for City Bypass A720 and then follow the directions above. By bus: Airport Bus (£ 5 return) to Waverley Station then walk around the corner onto North Bridge local bus number # 3, 7, 8, 29, 31, 37, 47, 49. Get off the bus at East Suffolk Park. You will see the three white flag poles out the front of the hotel. By taxi: The holiday is about 30 minutes and the cost is around £ 18.
