About the accommodation

This hotel is opposite the Murrayfield Stadium on Corstorphine Road, just 1.5 km from Princes Street (downtown Edinburgh) and close to the city zoo. Edinburgh Airport is less than 8 km away and the train station is less than 2 km away. This very high quality pension is comfortable and its atmosphere is familiar. The building, built in 1890 and renovated in 2006, has 5 rooms and 2 suites, plus an apartment, studio and chalet. Facilities include 24-hour reception, cloakroom, wireless Internet connection, laundry service, breakfast room and parking. The rooms are of an excellent standard and feature private bathroom, coffee / tea maker, welcome sherry, hair dryer, trouser press, direct dial telephone, TV (some with DVD player), Internet connection, set of iron, central heating and radio alarm. Edinburgh is famous for its festivals, events and the so-called Tattoo. In both Murrayfield and Edinburgh Castle there are many pop music concerts throughout the year and the first is also home to Scottish rugby and host many international matches. The nearest golf course is 600 m from the pension. Full Scottish breakfast and continental buffet are included and served in the elegant atmosphere of the beautiful Victorian dining room. Lunch and dinner can be taken from the buffet or ordered à la carte.
