You think you are a guest at the versailles castle, and that's it, all that old and ugly-lovely furniture gives you a total immersion into the belle epoque. Hahahah. With that price you are paying, staying in front of the rail station, you don't have the right to say anything about the general condition of the hotel or the room. I recommend staying at the room 205, you will have a good balcony for your photos. And don't forget, that you will save the taxi or vaporetto expenses, and you won't be with your luggages into the narrow and not easy streets so you pull your 360 spinning wheels.
