Staff was very helpful and accommodating.
There were huge discrepancies in quality between the main area of the hotel and the building our room was in. Some of these are understandable, since it's in the middle of Rome and there is only so much they can do with the existing, historical architecture. However, it was disheartening to find that the AC in our room was barely able to take the edge off the heat, compared with the perfect temperature in the lobby, and the wifi in our building was less than a fifth of the speed compared to when we connected in the main building. Add to that the stained carpet and dilapidated furnishings in our room, and it really didn't feel like we were staying in the hotel that we saw online.
