About the accommodation
The hotel Las Cancelas, former inn of the XV century, is located in the historical center of the city. Our views are privileged as we are next to the Walls of Avila and the Cathedral of El Salvador. Las Cancelas is a cozy hotel, with fourteen rooms decorated in a Castilian style of that first inn. Of the top floor, the rooms have sloping ceilings. When we are in the intramural area, we are very close to all the historical monuments and administrative buildings, without having to take the car to get around. The whole building is made of stone, retaining part of the original structure of the building. The ceilings and furniture are of noble woods, with rich coffered ceilings, visible in the part of the reception and in the old courtyard of stables, turned into the main hall of our famed restaurant.
