A dream week. We knew the line because of the apartments they have in the same area and we already loved them. After 2 years, we returned to Portocolom, a quiet area with more "family" tourism. The hotel did not disappoint us, it was incredible, as was the stay. The service, friendly, clear and very friendly. The girls and boys from reception, to the bar and of course the waiters and cooks at the breakfast buffet. Regarding the room, not bad. Beautiful views, you can see the sunsets and you can breathe tranquility. Spacious rooms and good for sleeping and little else. Very clean, daily cleaning and daily change of towels (if you requested it). We loved breakfast. We had read some negative comments, which we do not understand. Nothing frozen. There is the usual: Pastries, bread, hot (bacon roll and so on for foreigners), a cold area with fresh fruit, a juice and coffee area (very good by the way) and a savory and sweet area where, if you If you want, they will prepare tortillas for you at the moment. They also prepare fried eggs and so on the spot, with a chef. Breakfast takes place in an external restaurant that is literally right in front of the hotel, you don't have to walk more than 15 meters. The pools, of which there are 2, are in 2 separate 'complexes': One in the breakfast area and the other in the bar complex, where some nights there is also entertainment. The pool at the bar does not cover it (maximum depth 1.40m), ideal for relaxing, being with your partner, etc... Honestly, a hotel which we recommend to travel in peace, with your partner or friends and not worry about everything. We left it written down to return. A pleasure to have been at the Hotel Vistamar.
Una semana de ensueño. Conocíamos la línea por los apartamentos que tienen en la misma zona y ya nos encantaron. Tras 2 años, volvimos a Portocolom, una zona tranquila y con un turismo más "familiar". El hotel no nos defraudó, fue increible, igual que la estancia.
El servicio, amable, claro y muy simpático. Las chicas y chicos de recepción, hasta el bar y por supuesto los camareros y cocineras del buffet de desayuno.
Respecto a la habitación, nada mal. Bonitas vistas, se ven los atardeceres y se respira tranquilidad. Habitaciones amplias y bien para dormir y poco más. Muy limpias, limpieza diaria y cambio de toallas diario (si lo solicitabas).
El desayuno nos encantó. Habíamos leído algunos comentarios negativos, cosa que no entendemos. De congelado nada. Hay lo de siempre: Pastas, pan, calientes (rollo bacon y así para extranjeros), una zona de fríos con fruta fresca, una zona de zumos y café (muy bueno por cierto) y una zona de salados y dulces dónde, si tu quieres, te preparan tortillas al momento. También van preparando huevos fritos y así al momento, con un/a chef. El desayuno se lleva a cabo en un restaurante externo que queda, literal, justo en frente del hotel, no hay que andar más de 15 metros.
Las piscinas, que tienen 2, están en 2 'complejos' separados: Una en la zona del desayuno y la otra en el complejo del bar, dónde algunas noches también hay animación. La piscina del bar no llega a cubrir (1,40m de profundidad max.) ideal para relajarse, estar con la pareja, etc...
Sinceramente un hotel el cual recomendamos para viajar tranquilo, en pareja o amigos y despreocuparse de todo. Nos lo dejamos apuntado para volver. Un placer haber estado en el Hotel Vistamar.

Hotel in a beautiful location, close to coves of interest in Portocolom. The food is not very varied but perfect for a short stay. The rooms in perfect condition and the staff very friendly. I would repeat without hesitation.

La bebida de la media pensión que hay que abonar es bastante cara, aunque te entra el agua, el buffet aunque el desayuno está muy bien, no pasa lo mismo con la cena, poca variedad y poca cantidad, se iban acabando las bandejas y ya no se reponen, o te dicen que ahora las sacan pero ya no sale más y si preguntas de nuevo dicen no que ya se ha terminado aún habiendo dicho antes que en un poquito sacaban. El horario de la cena es demasiado temprano y a las 21.30 h en punto cierran sin más. Escuché a la encargada de buffet criticar a clientes con otros empleados y eso no me gustó tampoco.
