This unique hotel is located by the sea, on the seafront of Caniço de Baixo and offers shuttle service to Funchal several times a day, except Sundays, where you can find many shops and places of entertainment. This charming hotel offers excellent facilities and attentive service. It has eight floors with a total of 327 rooms. In the lobby you will find the reception open for you 24 hours a day, four lifts, a hairdresser, a TV room and a conference room with Internet access. Guests may also enjoy a cozy bar and a restaurant that will delight your palate with delicious specialties that will serve you (has non-smoking area). In the grounds there is a playground where children can let off steam. All rooms have been decorated in a modern way and have their own bathroom with hairdryer. They are also equipped with direct dial telephone, satellite and cable TV, minibar, hire safe and air conditioning centrally controlled. Also, each with a balcony or terrace, some with side sea view. The beautiful hotel grounds include a swimming pool, sun loungers and parasols. Guests will be able to relax in the sauna, play tennis, billiards or exercise at the gym. Also, a wide range of psychotherapy treatments and cosmetics is available. For guests' amusement, the hotel offers an entertainment program of activities and entertainment. The staff are really friendly and are always ready to help. We were with our 2 year old and the attention we received was second to none. We will definitely be going again to Riu.
We have none. It was the best experience we have had. Working in customer services I know how hard it is to please customers. Every staff at Riu went above and beyond everytime we asked them for assistance.
