This historic hotel is located in the medieval town of Puebla de Sanabria, on a street that goes up to the Plaza Mayor, where the 12th-century parish church and the Elizabethan-style Town Hall building are located. At the end of the street is a quadrangular castle built in the fifteenth century by the Counts of Benavente and served as a border defense. The train and bus stations of Sanabria are 3 km from this hotel, while the coast of Vigo is approximately 240 km away. This old house was built in 1736 and has been rehabilitated using original materials. Inside, the sobriety of its origin has been respected, with little decoration. Cupboards, paneras, old bunkers and skylights on the stairs are the only rustic elements that have been preserved in this building. Today it is a charming accommodation, characterized by a mixture of decorative styles, combining rustic elements with minimalist design furniture.
