Parador de Villafranca del Bierzo

The Parador is located at the entrance of the city, at the top, about 350 meters from the N-VI road. Villafranca is located at km. 406 of the N-VI (Madrid-La Coruna), a stylish and spacious entrance from the road which passes the Parador and continues to the Plaza Mayor. In the illustrious town of Villafranca del Bierzo, capital of a beautiful region and former resort of the Camino de Santiago, the Parador is located, whose architecture mimics the lines and shapes of nearby Galicia. The landscapes of the Ancares mountain range to the north complement the beauty of the Parador garden. Its interior is characterized by traditional Castilian decoration in furniture, entrance halls, chairs and wrought iron lamps. The wooden floors in the bedrooms and elsewhere offer elegance and comfort. The lounge, one of the most pleasant spaces of the Parador, is welcoming and comfortable. And unto trout with peppers, botillo, pie or stewed veal Bierzo style are some of the dishes offered by the spacious restaurant.
