DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE We stayed at this hotel on several occasions years ago, when it belonged to another chain, and the experiences had been good. This year 2025 we returned again and the experience has been terrible (NOT RECOMMENDED, WE WILL NOT RETURN) for the following: The hotel was totally empty (at most we were 10 guests in total in the week of January 5-10), and despite having all the rooms free, they gave us one that had a water leak in the bathroom so a small puddle was continuously produced. The blackout curtain on the window was BROKEN and did not completely cover the window, so a lot of light came in in the morning and it was impossible to sleep, and the cleaning was FATAL, they made the beds and little else, despite the fact that the hotel was empty and the cleaning people had more than enough time to clean at least a little thoroughly.. The fact that they gave us a room with these characteristics when all the others were free makes no sense and indicates the lack of organization and control of the hotel. Despite having paid for a buffet breakfast and dinner (remember that it is a 4* hotel) they sent us to have breakfast in the cafeteria (instead of the dining room) on several occasions WITHOUT a buffet (although they brought us several things to drink). The area was very uncomfortable (small sofas and tables). The waiters who served us DID NOT KNOW ANYTHING: We asked for a hot chocolate for breakfast and they brought us a glass of water with the hot chocolate (instead of a glass of milk). We also asked for a fried egg with sausage and bacon, and they brought a French omelette with a boiled potato and three cold sausages. Finally, we asked for a decaffeinated coffee with milk from a machine and they brought only an espresso.. WE WERE FLYING AWESOME!! One night, for dinner, they sent us to the cafeteria without any explanation, WITHOUT A BUFFET, only with the option of ordering from the menu what was in the cafeteria (4 things to choose from since it is a very limited menu), without the option of dessert or anything, one of us had to go to bed with a sandwich and the other with some chicken wings, AWESOME!! The staff was A ZERO, they didn't know how to handle anything, they didn't give us any kind of explanation for such a situation. We asked for the complaint form after being left without a buffet and having dinner with a snack and from then on they put the buffet back, still reduced, but it should be noted that the little that was there was well cooked and tasted good. After complaining at reception, the restaurant staff said they would have some kind of detail with us: THEY DID NOT HAVE ABSOLUTELY ANY DETAIL. What's more, we had our car parked outside and they didn't even have the courtesy to let us park inside without charge for the inconvenience, or they could have not charged for the drinks during the stay and charged them anyway. A ZERO IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. A ZERO IN EVERYTHING. The pool (which years ago cost €8 per person to access) is outrageously expensive now: €20 per person. In general, it's awful, we won't be back.
EXPERIENCIA DECEPCIONANTE
Estuvimos alojados en este hotel en varias ocasiones hace años, cuando pertenecía a otra cadena, y las experiencias habían sido buenas.
Este año 2025 volvimos de nuevo y la experiencia ha sido nefasta (NADA RECOMENDABLE, NO VOLVEREMOS) por lo siguiente:
El hotel estaba totalmente vacío (como mucho éramos 10 huéspedes en total en la semana del 5 al 10 de enero), y a pesar de tener todas las habitaciones libres, nos dieron una que tenía una pérdida de agua en el baño por lo que se producía un pequeño charco continuamente. La cortina de oscurecimiento de la ventana estaba ROTA y no tapaba completamente la ventana, por lo que entraba mucha luz por la mañana y era imposible dormir, y la limpieza FATAL, hacían las camas y poco más, a pesar de que el hotel estaba vacío y las personas de la limpieza tenían tiempo más que suficiente para limpiar al menos un poco a fondo. Que nos dieran una habitación con estas características estando todas las demás libres no tiene sentido e indica la falta de organización y control del hotel.
A pesar de haber pagado por un desayuno y cena buffet (recordemos que es un hotel de 4*) nos mandaron a desayunar a la cafetería (en vez de al comedor) en varias ocasiones SIN buffet (aunque nos trajeron varias cosas para tomar). La zona muy incómoda (sofás y mesas pequeñas). Los camareros que nos atendieron NO SE ENTERABAN DE NADA: Pedimos para desayunar un colacao y nos trajeron un vaso de agua con el colacao (en vez de un vaso de leche). También pedimos un huevo frito con salchicha y bacon, y trajeron una tortilla francesa con una patata cocida y tres salchichas frías. Por último, se pidió un café con leche descafeinado de máquina y trajeron un café solo expreso. QUEDAMOS FLIPADOS!!
Una de las noches, para cenar, nos mandaron a la cafetería también sin dar ningún tipo de explicación, SIN BUFFET, sólo con la opción de pedir a la carta lo que había en la cafetería (4 cosas a escoger ya que es una carta muy reducida), sin opción de postre ni nada, tuvimos que ir para cama con un sándwich uno de nosotros y el otro con unas alitas de pollo, DE TRACA!!
El personal UN CERO, no supieron gestionar nada, no nos dieron ningún tipo de explicación ante semejante situación. Pedimos la hoja de reclamaciones después de haber quedado sin buffet y cenar con un temtempié y a partir de ahí volvieron a poner el buffet, aún así, reducido, pero destacar que lo poco que había estaba bien cocinado y sabía bien.
Tras quejarnos en recepción, el personal del restaurante dijeron que tendrían algún detalle con nosotros: NO TUVIERON ABSOLUTAMENTE NINGÚN DETALLE. Es más, teníamos el coche aparcado fuera y no tuvieron el detalle siquiera de dejarlo aparcar dentro sin coste por las molestias, o podrían no haber cobrado las bebidas durante la estancia y se cobraron igual. UN CERO EN ATENCIÓN AL CLIENTE. UN CERO EN TODO.
La piscina (que hace años el acceso por persona costaba 8 €) un precio de escándalo ahora: 20 € por persona.
En general fatal, no volveremos.

It is a hotel that does not deserve 4 stars. Shower with no water pressure. The bathroom walls are not even tiled. The walls are lined with imitation marble plastic. The minibar is empty. The bed is old and the mattress is old and deformed. Total lack of control over the management of the car park lot. Rubble and trash all over the car park lot and the back area of the hotel, from having done a shoddy renovation, and not having removed and cleaned the trash. All accumulated in the car park and the back area of the hotel. They wanted to charge me for the hotel stay even though it had been paid for. And the car park, I paid for it on arrival, for every day's stay, and at the end of the check out, they also wanted to charge me for it. Every night when I arrived at the hotel, I rang the bell to open the car park lot for me, and they did not open it. I had to get out of the car, walk to reception and ask them to open it for me. The staff was very friendly, they are not to blame, but the hotel is a disaster for the range it has. We booked with you at the Metropolis hotel on the 26th and it was the complete opposite. A 10 in every aspect.
Es un hotel que no merece 4 estrellas. Ducha sin presión de agua. Las paredes del baño ni tan siquiera son de baldosa. Las paredes están forradas de plástico imitación mármol. El minibar vacío. La cama vieja y colchón viejo y deformado. Descontrol total sobre la gestión del parking. Escombros y basura por todo el parking, y la zona trasera del hotel, de haber hecho una reforma cutre, y no haber retirado y limpiado la basura. Toda acumulado en el garaje y zona trasera del hotel. Me quisieron cobrar la estancia del hotel a pesar de estar pagada. Y el parking, lo pagué a la llegada,por estancia de todos los días, y al final en el check out, también me lo quisieron cobrar.
Todas las noches al llegar al hotel, tocaba el timbre para que me abriesen el parking, y no abrían. Tenía que bajar del coche, caminar hasta recepción y pedir que me abriesen.
El personal muy amable, estos no tienen culpa, pero el hotel es un desastre para la categoría que tiene. Reservamos con ustedes en hotel metrópolis el día 26 y todo lo contrario. Un 10 en todos los aspectos.

Good price, given the services provided. Average food and service. Reasonable WiFi but with a few faults in the bedroom area.
Bom preço, face aos serviços prestados. Comida mediana e serviços prestados. WiFi razoável mas com algumas falhas na zona dos quartos.
Lack of care in cleaning, both in the rooms and in the pool/spa area. Failure or late hour to clean rooms, and poor replacement of towels on some days. Garage needs more maintenance and cleaning.
Falta de cuidado na limpeza, quer nos quartos quer na zona da piscina/spa. Falhas ou hora tardia para assegurar limpeza dos quartos, e fraca reposição de toalhas em alguns dias. Garagem necessita de mais manutenção e limpeza.

The staff are very attentive and available. Although it's not close enough to the slopes for us to walk, the transfer to and from the slopes is very convenient (we didn't move the car all week). The Wi-Fi is good. Having the equipment rental store inside the hotel is very convenient. The hotel in general is good.
O staff é muito atencioso e disponível. Apesar de não estar perto das pistas o suficiente para irmos a pé, o transfer que o ferem de e para as pistas é muito conveniente (não mexemos no carro toda a semana). O Wi-Fi é bom. Ter a loja de aluguer de equipamento dentro do hotel proporciona um conforto muito bom. O hotel de uma forma geral é bom.
The cost of access to the pool, €15 per adult and €7 per child, seemed exaggerated to me, and what's more, the sauna wasn't working and the pool water was cold. I had hoped that there would be no charge for access to the pool, but the price was disappointing. If I paid for it, I wouldn't use it again
O custo para aceder à piscina de 15€ por adulto e 7€ por criança parece-me exagerado, e ainda para mais a sauna não estava a funcionar e a água da piscina tinha uma temperatura fria. O acesso à piscina esperava que não fosse pago, e pelo valor desiludiu. A pagar, não voltava a usufruir do espaço

The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. They did not provide us with the Ski Passes at the hotel and we had to go to the station to pick them up.
La limpieza deja mucho q desear. No nos facilitaron los forfait en el hotel y tuvimos que ir hasta la estación a recogerlos.

The personnel is very friendly. That they make the spa showers available on the last day of skiing, once I have checked out, is very important to me and a great point in their favor. The environment is pleasant, quiet. Very good transfer service to the slopes. The issuance of the ski pass from reception was very good. Great to be able to rent equipment in the same hotel. Everything is very easy, in short.
El personal es muy amable.
Que pongan a disposición las duchas del spa el último día de esquí, una vez hecho el check out , para mí es muy importante y un gran punto a su favor.
El entorno es agradable, tranquilo .
Muy bien el servicio de Transfer a las pistas.
Muy bien la emisión del forfait desde recepción.
Genial poder alquilar material en el mismo hotel
