About the accommodation
This comfortable and well-appointed lodge is located in El Portal, overlooking the Merced River, just 4 km from the western entrance to the famous Yosemite National Park. It was renovated in 2004 and features several buildings and a total of 278 rooms. The main building features a reception area with a safe, checkroom, newsstand and elevator. Other facilities include a cozy bar and an excellent restaurant. The tastefully decorated rooms have an en-suite bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen and a balcony or terrace. Air conditioning and heating are individually adjustable. Depending on the season, guests can use the two outdoor swimming pools. The hotel also has a small indoor pool with several Jacuzzis. Breakfast is served every morning and dinner is available from a set menu.
