About the accommodation
This fantastic facility is one of the oldest mountain resorts in California, a National Historic Landmark. The green meadows and flowing streams, along with the peaceful surroundings, make it a perfect place for those seeking a relaxed atmosphere and the charm and grace of bygone eras. It is only 4 miles from the south entrance to the park, between the Mariposa Grove redwood forest of giant sequoias and Yosemite Valley. All rooms are tastefully decorated with period furnishings and Victorian touches and feature excellent amenities and modern conveniences for a comfortable stay. Most also have a beautiful terrace for fresh air and relaxation at the end of the day. Guests can enjoy delicious meals in the restaurant and play a round of golf on the golf course.
