Aquila Elounda Village

The hotel is located in the small and beautiful traditional fishing village of Elounda, on the shore of Mirabello Bay, north of the famous town of Aghios Nikolaos, which is a short drive from the accommodation. Opposite the hotel is a small island called Spinalonga, where the ruins of an ancient Venetian fortress are located, a place much visited by tourists in the summer months. There are also Greek tavernas and cafes (kafenions) around the hotel. In the colorful gardens of Crete, the whitewashed bungalows gradually recede away from the inconspicuous main building down to the private sandy cove. There is a spectacular view of the islands and the cascading pools add to the resort's charm and exoticism. This is an ideal hotel with a wide variety of leisure facilities. Its concept is that of a 'couples' hotel', but a limited number of children are also accepted, 12 at the most. The beach resort was renovated in 2008 and has a total of 208 rooms. There is a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, TV room and restaurant, as well as Internet access. All standard rooms have a bathroom with bathtub/shower, WC, bathrobes, slippers and hairdryer. They also have a direct dial telephone, LCD flat-screen satellite TV and music channels, mini-radio with radio and CD player, DVD player (on request), CD/DVD library (available on request), Wi-Fi Internet access and safe. All rooms are air-conditioned and heated. In addition, all rooms have a coffee/tea maker and a premium stocked minibar (pay-as-you-go). There is also a pillow menu and goodnight service (maid service twice a day). Each room has its own balcony or terrace.
