About the accommodation
This hotel is located in the resort of Port El Kantaoui, just 300 m from the golf course and with direct access to the beach (300 m). It is 100 m from the nearest public transport links, 1.2 km from Kantaoui and 1.5 km from the center of Port El Kantaoui, its marina and its bars and restaurants. Monastir Airport is only 27 km away. The hotel building is located on 11 hectares of Andalusian-style land. This is a family-friendly golf and spa hotel comprising a total of 264 bedrooms, including 85 apartments. It has air conditioning, a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, safe, currency exchange, cloakroom, lift and newspapers. It also has a hairdressing salon, auditorium and games room, as well as a playground and a kids' club for the little ones. There is also a cafeteria, bar, disco and restaurant, as well as Internet connection in the lobby. A laundry service and car park are also offered for those arriving by car. The hotel is neglected and dirty throughout. The rooms and facilities are out of date. Daily cleaning of the rooms is practically non-existent. Food is repetitive every day. Bad service from the waiters at the buffet. In short, this is not a hotel to stay in. If possible, choose another alternative.
Holel descuidado y sucio en todas sus instalaciones. Habitacines e instalaciones anticipadas. La limpieza diaria de las habitaciones prácticamente nula.
Comida repetitiva todos los dias.
Mala atencion de los camareros en el buffet.
En resumen, hotel nada recomendable para alojarse. En medida de lo posible, optar por otra alternativa.

The hotel is seriously lacking in maintenance, apart from cleanliness... and that is what the guest sees, I can't imagine seeing the kitchen... dirty windows, the carpet in the hallways was cleaned the first day they put it in and they have never cleaned it again in their life, the dining room was dirty, dirty glasses and plates, a dimly lit room, little variety of food, and what there was was not appealing to eat. The grills where the food was served were black and crusty, the pizza oven was half broken and the glass was opaque… I couldn’t finish… the glasses at the pool bar were made of plastic that looked like they had been rinsed with water only… the hot drinks, they didn’t give you ice unless you asked for it and they gave you some, they served you reluctantly… TERRIBLE… We sent an email from Amimir to say that my daughter is celiac, which was of no use at all. We called at the entrance and they had absolutely nothing special that was gluten-free. They told us that they would bring some bread and pasta or pastries, but in the 5 days they didn’t bring anything, they just ignored it… to the point that I had to provide them with the pasta myself so they could make it for her, toast, etc.. A piece of advice DO NOT BOOK AT THIS HOTEL, IT DOES NOT EVEN REACH 2 STARS IN SPAIN…and the cleanliness…if it were Spanish health authorities they would close it there…DISGUSTING
El hotel tiene una falta de mantenimiento importante, aparte de limpieza….y es lo que ve el huésped, no me quiero imaginar ver la cocina…cristales sucios, la alfombra de los pasillos la limpiaron el primer día que la pusieron y no la han vuelto a limpiar en su vida, el comedor sucio, vasos y platos sucios, salón poco iluminado, poca variedad de comida, y lo que había no apetecía ni comerlo. Las planchas donde habían la comida al momento estaban negras , con costra, y el horno de las pizzas medio roto y cristal opaco directamente….no acabaría…los vasos del bar de la piscina de plástico con pinta de ser aclarados con agua solo….las bebidas calientes, no te ponían hielo a no ser que lo pidieras y te ponían uno, te atendían a desgana….FATAL…Desde Amimir enviamos un mail advirtiendo que mi hija es celíaca, lo cual no sirvió para nada, avisamos a la entrada y no tenian absolutamente nada especial sin gluten, nos dijeron que traerían algo de pan y pasta o bollería y en los 5 días no trajeron nada, se lo pasaron directamente por el forro…hasta el punto que tuve que proporcionarles yo la pasta para que se la hicieran, tostadas etc. un consejo NO RESERVÉIS EN ESTE HOTEL, NO LLEGA NI A 2 ESTRELLAS EN ESPAÑA…y la limpieza…si fuera sanidad española allí lo cierran…ASQUEROSO
