The family-run Hotel is 200 meters south of Lugano's main railway station, from where the funicular to the city center departs frequently. The Hotel houses several restaurants and in the garden there is a grotto in the typical Ticino style. This cave is open twice a week in summer. The buildings of the historic Ronco dei Bianchi vineyard, located nearby, have been masterfully restored and house a distillery, a wine cellar, an agricultural museum and a cave restaurant.
